        More than 1,400 smallholder families in the Uraga district, in Ethiopia's Guji zone, bring their coffee cherries to the Walichu Wachu washing station. Together they farm around 2,170 hectares of coffee land. The station is run by a local company that has been processing and exporting coffee since 2017. The cherries are local landrace varieties, processed fully washed at the station.
