La Nuova Era Altea Anniversario

The Altea Anniversario is the La Nuova Era Altea with PID temperature control, a shot timer and a coffee counter, built around 6-key group panels and finished here in military green. Its 14 L boiler heats with a 4.5 kW element and feeds two side steam wands and a central hot water tap, for a café or restaurant that works two groups at once.

Key features

PID temperature control
La Nuova Era regulates the Anniversario's temperature with a PID controller.

Shot timer and coffee counter
Both groups are run from 6-key button panels; the machine has a shot timer and counts the coffees it makes.

14 L boiler, 4.5 kW
One boiler supplies the two side steam wands and the central hot water tap. The boiler water level is visible and the boiler refills automatically.

Eco mode and timed on/off
Program when the machine switches itself on and off, and drop it into eco mode during quiet hours.

Rotary pump built in
The rotary motor pump sits inside the body. The 2-group measures 70 × 54 × 60 cm and weighs 64 kg.

What our baristas think

The Anniversario suits a café or restaurant that wants a 2-group with a timer and PID control, at a lower price than the La Marzocco professional 2-groups on our site. La Nuova Era lists one 14 L boiler for it, not a separate coffee boiler per group: if you serve two espressos at different temperatures, a machine like the La Marzocco GB5 X fits better. If you prefer ivory with walnut handles to military green, the Altea Wood has the same 2-group size, boiler and heater.

Pros and cons

Pros

Cons

• One 14 L boiler: no separate coffee boiler per group.
• 64 kg and 70 cm wide: check the counter and the access route.
• 4.5 kW heater: have the electrical connection checked.
